The Hill Library will be screening a documentary that will feature CMAST faculty and NC State undergraduates. The screening will take place TODAY, April 1, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Fishbowl Forum in Hill Library.
The documentary, “Sharks in a Changing Sea: Stories from the Depths and the People Who Know Them,” will highlight Spot A Shark USA. This citizen-science program works to expand understanding of the ecology, behavior and habitat of the endangered sand tiger shark.
The screening will have Dr. Carol Price and Dr. Dave Eggleston as featured speakers, and it will include a Q&A session and discussion of student opportunities at CMAST. Representatives from the NC State Marine Science Club and the Raleigh Diving Club will also share information.
