NCSU Study Abroad in Italy Perugia 2026

Perugia is a safe, student-centered city where students can truly experience Italian life through culture, language, and hands-on adventures — from authentic culinary arts and modern technology to unforgettable local festivals. Sponsored by the Department of World Languages and Cultures, students will study at the Università per Stranieri in Perugia, one of Italy’s most prestigious institutions, earning both academic credit and a certificate of attendance to support future graduate school or career paths. Our motto is: Don’t just visit Italy. Live it!

The program was recently featured in the CHASS newspaper article titled Students Explore the Global Food Landscape, showing how the Perugia program engages our students in cultural exploration through food and global learning.
