The Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission (CRITFC) has an open role for an Oceanographic Instrumentation Technician.

The CRITFC Coastal Margin Observation and Prediction Program maintains an observation network of buoys and dock-based stations that track the physical and biogeochemical properties of the Columbia River estuary and plume, contributing to the Northwest Association of Networked Ocean Observing Systems (NANOOS). We seek an experienced and mechanically inclined Oceanographic Instrumentation Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be someone with excellent troubleshooting skills, experience working with biogeochemical sensors and/or working on boats, and excitement for ocean observing. This position will be based out of Astoria, Oregon, with starting pay of up to $54,000/year.
