All of these courses are appropriate for first year students (no previous credit in History is required).
As a reminder, the History minor is only 15 credit hours, and we accept 6 hours of transfer or AP credit. Since many students come to NC State with 2 AP or transfer courses in History, they would need just 3 courses to complete the minor.
