MEAS Undergraduate Updates

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is sponsoring a virtual event October 18-21 entitled “Career Connections – Igniting your Career at a National Lab”. Over the course of four days, PNNL will host a series of informational sessions across a variety of topic areas, including Computational and Mathematical Sciences, Chemical and Material Sciences, Biological and Earth Sciences, and Engineering.

In addition to identifying undergraduate and graduate students who might be interested in careers at a national lab, we believe this event will also serve to better inform NCSU faculty and staff on the broad areas of scientific research and development underway at PNNL.

PNNL has had a staff member (Brian Kritzstein, brian.kritzstein@pnnl.gov) working here at NC State for the past three years. Brian is available to answer any questions that you have about this event or opportunities for collaboration at PNNL.

Registration is free, with a deadline of October 14. The registration web site, also has a detailed agenda for the week.

Monday, October 18th – Computational and Mathematical Sciences; Tuesday, October 19th – Chemical and Material Sciences; Wednesday, October 20th – Biological and Earth Sciences; Thursday, October 21st – Engineering
