The Michael Dickey Outstanding Research Mentor Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated excellence in mentoring and supporting undergraduate researchers. This award is given annually at the Spring Undergraduate Research & Creativity Symposium.
If you answer yes to all the following statements then you are eligible to nominate a research mentor.
- I am an undergraduate researcher
- My mentor is a full-time faculty member at NC State (this includes tenured, tenure-track, instructors, and professors of the practice)
- I have worked with my mentor for at least one semester
- My mentor has worked with undergraduate students for at least one year
Nominations are due February 19 at 11:59pm. The selected mentor will be honored at our Spring Undergraduate Research & Creativity Symposium on April 22.
