We are looking for junior grade met/ocean recruits for FNMOC Modeling and Forecasting Department.
Our hiring authority allows us to bypass some the normal GS hiring protocol, IF we can provide a qualified candidate.
A good fit is usually a recent or soon to be graduate with a BS or MS degree, but anyone with the knowledge and skills required is eligible,
such as a qualified contractor. Needs to be a US citizen and able to get a Secret clearance. You know our business, so
a successful candidate needs to know the field, but also should have some coding background and a desire to develop those skills on the job.
