The Shelton Leadership Center is seeking college students for paid internships this summer as a part of the Red Hat Shelton Challenge:
- Leadership Coach – One-week micro-internship serving in a mentorship role to high school students. Best for emerging or intermediate college-aged leaders looking for a short-term commitment.
- Shelton Challenge Intern – Three-month internship coordinating program logistics on an intergenerational team. Best for established upperclass and graduate student leaders with a passion for youth/learner development and/or program planning.
Students in these roles will have the opportunity to deepen their own leadership skills, build relevant professional skills, such as the ability to work on interdisciplinary and intergenerational teams, communication, and critical thinking, and contribute to a transformative experience that impacts their local and state communities.
