The Sustainability stewards are a student-led organization dedicated to advancing sustainability across NC State’s campus. The Stewards host workshops, presentations, and events while leading projects that make a tangible difference in our community.
Each week, Stewards collaborate in one of three teams, Community & Culture, Resource Conservation, or Waste Reduction, to design and implement initiatives that promote a more sustainable campus. Some of our previous and ongoing projects include sustainable cooking classes, upcycling workshops, and the development of several physical spaces on campus.
Applications are open to any student interested in joining the Stewards at the beginning of the Spring 2026 semester. Please note that students graduating in Spring 2026 are not eligible to apply.
