OUR Events and Reminders

  • (new) The Summer Undergraduate Research & Creativity Symposium will be held on July 26, 2024. Submissions will be accepted in InfoReady from June 3, 2024 to June 28, 2024 at 11:59pm. Students in all disciplines completing any research or creative endeavor can submit.
  • Summer Research Workshops are available for students seeking to learn more about research-related topics. Longer, REU/Summer Programs workshops will be held, as well as the usual OUR Workshops. Review the Summer OUR Workshops Intent to Attend form for more.
  • Fall 2024 Project Supply Grants are due by June 28. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. You must attend a Proposal Help Session to have your proposal read. Upcoming proposal help sessions will be held on June 6, June 17, and June 21 (review the link for more information).
  • The 2024 Envisioning Research Contest is open. Undergraduate researchers, as well as graduates, staff, and faculty are invited to submit images, gifs, and/or videos related to your research. Envisioning Research submissions are due by June 17. Monetary prizes are available for winners.

  • The National Park Service and the National Archives and Records Administration are seeking volunteers for a citizen archivist project. Transcribe records to uncover new stories about the American Revolution.
  • Interested in communicating research data or other interest-related data through dance? Register for DSC 295: Data for Dancers. Dance experience is not required but recommended.
