  • The National Park Service Scientist in Parks program is now accepting applications for summer 2024 internships. At CALO we are hiring two intern positions for summer sea turtle monitoring and management.   • Eisenhower Global Scholars Program:  https://www.efworld.org/fellowship-programs/global-scholars/
    • The Eisenhower Global Scholars Program sends four American university graduates abroad annually for an academic year of postgraduate studies at two prestigious European universities, the University of Oxford and IE University in Madrid, Spain, leading to a master’s degree and immersion in the EF global network of Fellows.
  • The CONSERVE research group is currently recruiting the following two positions. Community Oriented nature-based Science for Ecosystem Restoration and versatile Engineering (CONSERVE) research group is hosted by Alabama Water Institute Cultural and Water Resources Preservation Program in Tuscaloosa, AL. Anyone with a conservation or social science background is highly encouraged to apply.

  • Climate Solutions Collaborative is hosting an Alt-Academic Policy+ Career Panel on January 11, 2024 for undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs.

  • The State Energy Conference of North Carolina will take place at the McKimmon Center at NC State University, 23-24 April 2024.

  • The UNC Cleantech Summit, the largest cleantech event of its kind by a university in the United States, is March 20-21, 2024.
    • The two-day Summit is a collaboration between the UNC Institute for the Environment and the Ackerman Center for Excellence in Sustainability (ACES) at the Kenan-Flagler School of Business. The Cleantech Corner strives to foster initiatives throughout the southeastern United States by identifying and highlighting small to medium enterprises and startups that are dedicated to furthering a sustainable future.
