MEAS Undergraduate Updates

The Department of History is excited to announce the 2024 interdisciplinary Summer in Cuba: History, Environment and Culture program, based in Havana. The program runs for four weeks, with an online, U.S. based, component from May 1-14, followed by the Cuba-based component from May 19 to June 2.

Students may take one or both of the following three credit courses: “Environmental History of Cuba,” (HI 318) and “Cuba Today: Historical and Sociopolitical Perspectives” (HI 317) Both courses are offered in English, and although it is preferred that students have completed two semesters of Spanish, it is not a requirement.

Please note that the application due date is February 7, 2024.
