Want to travel and make an impact in the U.S. clean energy mission? The International Engagement and Clean Energy Opportunity with the Office of Integrated Strategies (U.S. Department of Energy – EERE) is now accepting applications.
What will I be doing? The Office of Integrated Strategies is seeking multitalented and adaptable Fellows to engage in international collaboration and engagement to further DOE’s Clean Energy Mission. Your learning opportunities include:
- Collaborating with DOE clean energy technology and policy experts; international experts within DOE and other U.S. Federal Government agencies; and countries, international organizations, and industry to identify and facilitate opportunities for decarbonization and the growth of U.S. clean energy technologies through informational exchange and partnership-building.
- Researching and analyzing opportunities for international collaboration on energy efficiency, electrification, and clean energy resources that yield benefits in terms of shared learning and technology advancement, emissions reductions, economic development, and other Departmental priorities.
- Under the guidance of a mentor, developing and improving systems to advance EERE’s international activities.
- Participating in meetings, workshops, conferences, and/or delegation visits with foreign country and international organization partners.
- Engaging in preparing DOE leadership for international engagements on clean energy technologies and policies.
- Developing informational resources on EERE’s portfolio of clean energy technologies, to include energy efficiency, electrification, industrial decarbonization, manufacturing of clean energy technologies, the buildings sector, renewable energy, and clean transportation to support EERE engagement in international collaboration.
These activities will be carried out in collaboration with a team of federal employees at all levels, other fellows, support service contractors, and National Lab experts.
