“Sustainable Living Experience” (IPGE 295 – 001)
Offered this Summer Session I (May17-Jun23) only!
Includes a 2-week Farm Stay in Saxapahaw (just west of Chapel Hill)
This course combines ecology and interdisciplinary applications (money, transportation, social justice, cooking & nutrition, etc.). Students will live at below-sustainable levels, raise food, identify plants & animals, and consider the benefits and challenges of environmental sustainability. It can count as a GEP – Interdisciplinary Perspective.
