Career Advising Portal
We would like to bring to your attention a new benefit for AMS and Weather Band members. Our AMS Career Advising Portal has launched! Students may schedule time with one of our career advisers for resume reviews, mock interviews, LinkedIn advice, and more. They are also able to learn about different specializations available to them by reviewing the career pathways section of the portal, view webinars on career related topics, and access our tip sheets on resume dos and don’ts and other topics. Please share this great news with your undergraduate and graduate students to help them prepare for careers in weather, water, and climate fields.

If you are not quite ready to be an AMS Member, but you would benefit from the Career Advising Portal, membership in the AMS Weather Band is a fun place to start! The Weather Band is a global community of weather enthusiasts excited to learn more about and share their love of weather and science. And from now until the end of February, membership is discounted 50%—just $14 for a year!
