Four Hydrogeologist positions in the Groundwater Management Branch are currently being advertised – https://agency.governmentjobs.com/northcarolina/job_bulletin.cfm?JobID=3891385. One position administers the Central Coastal Plain Capacity Use Area (CCPCUA) Water Use regulatory program, and one position supports the Underground Injection Control (UIC) and coal ash programs, etc. The other two positions are new positions which will support the groundwater quality program, primarily working with emerging compounds sampling, data collection and analysis, collaborations, outreach, etc.
