The National Weather Service office in Greer, SC is now accepting applications for in-person summer 2023 college student volunteers through March 17th. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in a possible career in meteorology to gain first hand experience with the largest employer of meteorologists in the world, and for the NWS to learn more about possible future employees.
To qualify, students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college program with a major in meteorology, or other technical field with a strong interest in meteorology.
