AECOM, a global architecture and engineering firm providing environmental, infrastructure, and related services is partnering with Duke’s Chapter of oSTEM to host a panel discussion, resume review and office tour (located in Wade Park V) – Monday, February 20th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM during Engineer’s Week. Lunch would be provided. We (myself and the angels cc’d) are eager to engage and make connections with students with scientific, technology, and engineering backgrounds to 1) share details about AECOM and the environmental consulting industry in general as a career pathway and 2) help students envision what it might be like to work as a queer professional in this field.
Attendees don’t have to identify as queer to attend, but this event is intended to welcome and highlight LGBTQ scientists and engineers.
