PEP is a 10-week summer internship in Woods Hole for undergraduate students. PEP is a collaboration of the six scientific institutions in Woods Hole, and our goal is to be a diverse and inclusive internship. We recruit students of all STEM disciplines, and those who can relate their interests to marine/ocean sciences (science communication, microbiology, etc). We encourage underrepresented students to apply, including first generation and those from community college.
NOAA IN FISH:
We are now accepting applications for the 2023 IN FISH summer undergraduate internship program. The 2023 program runs June 3 through August 12 and offers interns the opportunity to work on research and/or policy projects at NOAA labs and offices around the country. Application deadline is February 10.
Closely modeled on the Woods Hole Partnership Education Program (PEP), IN FISH (Inclusive NOAA Fisheries Internship Program) provides interns with
- a two-credit course in Complex Systems
- an 8-10 week mentored project
- a suite of career-building activities
- all expenses covered (tuition, travel, housing and food) plus a $5,000 stipend.
