For the past 16 years, the American Meteorological Society’s Board for Private Sector Meteorologists (BPSM) has aimed to connect professionals working in private sector positions related to meteorology, with students interested in private sector opportunities.
We are currently seeking undergraduate and graduate students interested in building a career in the private sector. The program is uniquely focused on skill development, coaching, and helping students grow professional network and business acumen.
In 2023, our program is split into an Advanced Annual Mentorship (one-on-one mentoring) and a Summer Mentorship (workshop-based) in an effort to help as many students as possible. The new summer program is tailored to students in the early stages of their degree program, while seniors and graduate students will benefit from our advanced 10 month mentorship program.
