Speaker – Karl Dudman, PhD student of Anthropology at the University of Oxford’s Institute for Science, Innovation and Society (hosted by Kathie Dello, SCO)
Seminar Title – Addressing blindspots in public climate engagement
Bio – Karl Dudman is a PhD student of Anthropology at the University of Oxford’s Institute for Science, Innovation and Society. He recently completed a year of fieldwork hosted at the NC State Climate Office as a Fulbright scholar, where his research focused on scientific and institutional communications with vulnerable coastal communities on the subject of climate change and sea level rise. Before his doctoral studies, Karl worked in climate change communication, public participation, and global climate governance.
