Join us for the next Coffee & Viz seminar, Understanding Color for Data Visualization this Friday, October 21, at 1:30pm at the Hunt Library.

Color is a familiar concept that we all recognize and use in our day-to-day lives. Understanding how color ‘works’ is a much more fascinating problem, however, involving the physics of light, visual perception, language and culture, and context. In this talk, Dr. Christopher Healey will touch on these issues by discussing them and demonstrating how they affect presenting data with color. See the event page for details and registration.

Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be available starting at 1:15pm. See other upcoming Coffee & Viz events here.
