MEAS Undergraduate Updates
The U-TEAM: Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Training Fellowship in Comparative Biomedical Research, an funded NIH T34 program, is now accepting applications for Spring 2023.

This 2-year fellowship is exclusively for underrepresented (UR, as defined by the NIH) undergraduate students who want to major in biomedical research disciplines.

The program was established by the Comparative Medicine Institute and the University Honors and Scholars Program. It emphasizes interdisciplinary research through hands-on experience and professional development designed to prepare trainees for a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences programs.

The U-TEAM Fellowship includes:

  • Tuition and Some Fees
  • Monthly stipend
  • Health Insurance
  • Travel for Professional Development
  • One Summer of Full-Time Research Training
