Evolutionary ecology research assistant

This position will assist with a variety of projects in a plant evolutionary ecology lab. Main topics of research involve 1) understanding whether species will be able to evolve quickly enough to keep up with the pace of changing climate, and 2) examining the long-term effects of climate change on plant communities that inhabit mountain tops in the western US. Activities include (but are not limited to) setting up experiments, plant care, pot washing, data collection, processing samples and entering data in the lab, and general maintenance in the lab, greenhouse, and Phytotron. We strive to foster an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds are respected and we especially welcome applicants from groups that have historically been underrepresented or excluded.
