Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education is currently accepting applications for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Science, Technology and Policy (STP) Program, Nuclear Energy Justice Policy Fellow at DOE Office of Nuclear Energy (NE).
What will I be doing? As an ORISE participant, you will have opportunities to enhance quantitative and qualitative reasoning, critical thinking and problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills. You will also be learning and engaging in the following activities:
- How the Nuclear Energy Office is integrating Energy Justice into their program areas.
- How the office is developing and implementing training materials related to the department’s justice and equity policies.
- How the Nuclear Energy Office develops key research and policy briefs.
- Conducting and publishing research in peer-reviewed journals.
Community Outreach and Engagement:
- Collaborate with communities, tribes, and other outside stakeholders

You will receive a competitive stipend for living and other expenses during this appointment, based on your academic and professional background.
