NC State (managed by NC State Global) is part of the University Global Partnership Network (UGPN) with the Universidade de São Paulo (USP, Brazil), University of Surrey (UOS, U.K.), and University of Wollongong (UOW, Australia). UGPN’s annual conference is coming up from March 14-24 with sessions and workshops held each day from 5-6 p.m. EST. This conference is open and free to all NC State students, faculty and staff.
The program will include a mix of plenary and breakout sessions and workshops to explore the following Research Themes: Energy Futures; Urban Resilience; Global Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (Global WaSH) and Sustainable and Inclusive Approaches to Battle Health Inequalities. Other topics include Innovation Themes & Special Interest Groups: Embedding Sustainability into Curriculum Design and Delivery; University Operationalization of Sustainability: Best Practice; Student and Staff Mobility; and Collaborative Education. The conference brings together delegates from UGPN member institutions to promote and facilitate innovative collaborations in research and education. The event provides an opportunity to hear from senior academics and professional service staff key research areas for the network as well as on salient topics in Higher Education.
