The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold an outreach event virtually via zoom on Thursday, December 2nd from 1:00pm – 3:00pm ET.
Students will hear from a panel of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) researchers and hiring experts in EPA’s Office of Research and Development (ORD). A Q&A session will immediately follow formal presentations. ORD researchers will share their background and experience at EPA and HR Analysts will share how to apply for federal positions and information on EPA opportunities including postdoctoral fellowships, the Pathways Program, and other potential employment opportunities.
EPA/ORD is committed to hiring a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible workforce that will assist the Agency in identifying and overcoming the environmental challenges we currently face and in the future. EPA/ORD seeks to actively recruit and hire students who have dedicated themselves to the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields to ensure it has the talent to face these challenges head on. This information session is an important step in increasing awareness of these career opportunities within the NC State community. *The EPA is an independent executive agency of the United States federal government tasked with environmental protection matters.
