NC State
MEAS Undergraduate Updates
  1. Mark your calendars! Dates and times for the Spring Debunking Research discussion series are available. All events will be in person, unless updates to covid protocols are made, with some having an additional online option. To view titles, days/times, and locations, as well as to sign up, visit and fill out this Google form.
  2. Federal Work Study research assistant position applications for Spring 2022 can be submitted until December 13 (deadline extended). It’s helpful to have a mentor in mind/confirmed, but it isn’t required. Check out more information about FWS on the OUR website or email the OUR with questions. If you applied in the Fall but were not able to secure a position, you’re encouraged to apply again for Spring. If you’re looking for other opportunities, feel free to reach out to the OUR.
  3. The ACC Meeting of the Minds Undergraduate Research Conference is April 1-3, 2022 and will be held at the University of Virginia. NC State will be taking a select number of students. Undergraduate researchers from any discipline are encouraged to apply, and will need to submit a faculty letter of support, abstract for the work, resume, and an application. The submission forms will be available late December/early January.

Classes may be over, but we’re still here to support you! Please do not hesitate to reach out to the OUR should you have any questions or want to talk about research opportunities. Email for appointments undergraduate-research@ncsu.edu or book an appointment on GPS
