We are launching a new Biotechnology & Sustainability course that will focus on the interdisciplinary issues surrounding the sustainable disposal of electronic waste. The course will include online asynchronous sessions and in-person lab experiences in which you will brainstorm ideas in teams and learn about the process of science from a series of invited guest speakers from different fields. You will have an opportunity to perform research along with a team of students from various disciplinary backgrounds. This is a fantastic chance to learn about science communication and biotechnology! Work with microbes, plants, lab robots, and handheld DNA sequencers. Visit the course website. Contact: Dr. Carlos Goller (ccgoller@ncsu.edu) and Dr. Carly Sjogren (casjogre@ncsu.edu) for more information.
