WOAY-TV, the ABC-affiliate in southern West Virginia, is looking for not one, but two meteorologists– weekend and weekday mornings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent grad or December grads looking for full-time employment in the broadcast sector. We are located in the heart of the Appalachian mountains, so there is no shortage of interesting weather. We have all four seasons plus the microclimates that go along with them! We use WSI MAX, so experience with that graphic software is preferred. Previous employees now work in major cities like New York City, Boston, Providence, and more. We are centrally located three hours south of Pittsburgh, three hours southeast of Columbus, two hours from Roanoke, and one hour from Charleston, the capital of West Virginia.
