The Student Support Program for the Southern Association of Marine Laboratories (SAML) is open for student applications and will remain open until October 31, 2021.

The application is simple and supports student expenses such as conference attendance or travel/accommodations to do research as long as travel is allowed by the student’s home institution. An additional check will be made for confirming that travel is allowed because of the strong likelihood of COVID-19-related travel restrictions by most institutions. As is the case in other years, conference registrations are also eligible for coverage.
For students to be eligible, the institution must be current in their 2021 dues as a SAML member institution (CMAST qualifies you).
