Foreign Languages and Literatures works with Registration and Records to identify incoming students who likely have native language proficiency of a language other than English, and are eligible for a native language proficiency notation in order to meet their major’s Foreign Language requirements. Note: In order to qualify for the FL Native waiver the student needs to have verifiable, current native proficiency in all four language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
