The STEM Academy of North Carolina chapter at UNC Chapel Hill is expanding. College students and high school students work to mentor younger students of elementary and middle-school age in doing STEM research, completing their STEM classes, or working on Science Olympiad, as well as other efforts. Mentors and mentees would meet over Zoom/Microsoft Teams/Google Meet to assist with students’ Science Fair or Math Fair projects or STEM-related coursework.
We have over 200 students ready to serve as mentors for younger students. We are trying to extend this mentorship virtually this spring, and I would love if you could share this program to your students! Please let me know if you are interested!
How can I sign up to become a mentor?
