The University of North Carolina Asheville (UNCA), with support of the National Science Foundation, invite undergraduate students to Asheville, NC in Summer 2021 to engage in unique, interdisciplinary climate-related research projects.
Projects
Choose from a number of climate-focused projects concentrated in different academic areas: atmospheric science, climatology, biology, environmental communication, statistics, and data visualization (reu.unca.edu/projects).
Support
• $600/week stipend for 10 weeks
• Travel support to and from Asheville, NC
• Full financial support to attend a national scientific conference
• On campus housing, meals, and recreational facilities
• Weekend hikes and field trips

NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI), the North Carolina Cooperative Institute for Climate Studies, the National Environmental Modeling and Analysis Center, and CASE Consultants International.
