Course description:
A study of puppetry and object performance, including ancient global history and cultural trends, styles and forms from around the world, agency, definitions of the puppet, contemporary art practices in the field, such as theatrical performance, fine arts, animatronics, stop motion, and therapeutic applications. The class will culminate with designing and creating an original puppetry happening.
