Participatory Art Project: The Gen-Z Time Capsule
Were you born between the years of 1997-2012? Do you have an object to contribute to an online time capsule that best represents your generation? The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh is now accepting submissions to be included in their online Gen-Z Time Capsule. Did you know that Andy Warhol collected everything from cookie jars to contemporary art? (You can take a peek at some of the objects he collected in his Time Capsule 21.) To participate in the Gen-Z Time Capsule, upload an image of an object that you think best represents your generation, and tell why you chose it! Your photo may be selected to be part of an online exhibition and publication. For more information: https://www.warhol.org/timecapsule/time-capsules/
The Gen-Z Time Capsule Project is a collaboration between the Learning and Public Engagement department at The Andy Warhol Museum and Harvard-trained educator, artist, author, and Gen Z advocate John Schlimm.
