Nominations are now being accepted for the Office of Advancement’s Student Excellence Award. This is an annual award given to a COLLEGE OF SCIENCES SENIOR who is considered a leader among his/her peers and is actively pursuing leadership roles within the College of Sciences and/or across NC State.
Nominations for this senior award may be submitted by any student, faculty or staff member (self nominations are accepted). The deadline for nominations is Friday, September 11.
The nomination form can be found here. The online nomination form must be submitted for consideration.
The nominee’s leadership can be demonstrated through community service, philanthropy, campus involvement, research, or in the classroom. The recipient of this award sets a strong example for other students and motivates peers to make a positive impact on the NC State community. In addition to leadership, this student will have demonstrated integrity, collaboration and be in good academic standing.
Nominations will be reviewed by a committee consisting of faculty and staff members and the winner will be recognized virtually at the annual College of Sciences Alumni Awards Event on Thursday, October 15.
Resumes, letters of recommendation or other supporting information for nominations may be uploaded to the nomination form and/or sent separately to Lindsay Topping (ltoppin@ncsu.edu) in the Sciences Foundation Office.
