The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) through the Division of Academic & Student Affairs (DASA) will provide undergraduate research assistant positions through the Federal Work Study (FWS) program. The goal of the program is to provide a work study position that allows the student to earn money through an enhanced work experience by learning about and conducting research with a faculty mentor.
These positions are available in all colleges and disciplines, though some disciplines have limited mentors available and students should consider working outside their home college/discipline.
Restrictions:
- Students must be eligible for the Federal Work Study Program.
- Students must be awarded a Federal Work Study through their financial aid package.
- Students must be an undergraduate at NC State University enrolled full-time.
- Students must complete the online application.
