Thank you for your care of students and your partnership in our work to meet their mental health needs.

I am including our open groups and workshops through the end of the semester.

Connect & Cope – An open group for students struggling with anxiety, depression and interpersonal relationships. Students are able to join this group each week by coming in through our walk in hours.

Workshops

Anxiety Toolbox is a three-session seminar to help people who struggle with a variety of anxiety-related concerns (e.g., panic attacks, Generalized Anxiety, test anxiety).    The goal of this seminar is to provide education on anxiety and to teach coping skills for managing anxiety symptoms.

Getting Unstuck is a three-session seminar to help people who struggle with a variety of depression-related concerns (e.g., low mood, fatigue, numbness, negative thinking, concentration problems, withdrawal from friends or activities, etc.).    The goal of this seminar is to provide education on depression and to teach coping skills for managing depression symptoms.

RIO is a three-part workshop series offered to help you recognize and better manage the concerns that led you to the Counseling Center. RIO is a great way to get immediate support and an excellent place to start if you are new to the Counseling Center or are returning with a new issue or challenge.

New workshops start weekly and can be assigned through the center’s walk in service.
