MEAS Undergraduate Updates
A one-credit special topics course will be offered in Spring 2020. The course is “Climate Change Science & Art” and will focus on the connection between science and creative expression in communicating science. Much of it will be documentaries. We will address questions such as
•How is the science of climate change communicated through art and creative expression?
•What is the audience for these works, and do they alter the reach of science?
•Are there lessons for scientists about expanding their audiences and disciplinary perspectives?

The course is listed as ES 495-007 and FOR 595-007. It will only meet From Jan 8-22, a total of 5 MW 4-6:30 pm sessions.
