Who are you as a leader and how do you lead? Spend the semester developing your capacity to lead as we learn to engage in authentic and adaptive leadership and critical and creative thinking.
AEE 435 – Professional Presentations in Agricultural Organizations
Section 001: M/W 1:30 PM – 2:45 PM, Ricks 118
No matter the job or career, you are constantly presenting from visiting with a potential customer to answering a simple phone call. Presentations take place every day in a variety of settings. AEE 435 is a course focused on helping you make both those daily presentations as well as the bigger conference presentations. This course focuses on effective listening strategies, communication strategies, interpersonal skills, and presentation strategies essential for use in today’s workplace. Emphasis is placed on oral and visual presentation techniques in both formal and informal settings. Additional topics include conflict resolution, interviewing, negotiation, and group communication theory. Restricted to CALS students at the Junior or Senior level.
