Academic Advising Programs & Services has organized a series of student success workshops for March on the following topics:

  • Study skills and finals preparation

  • Designing a Weekly Schedule

  • Focus and Concentration

  • Thrive Versus Survive

  • Study Smarter, Not Harder

  • Changing majors

  • Preparing for your Registration Advising Appointment

These Tools for Success workshops are intended to help your students navigate this academic environment and develop successful habits. Please consider sharing the attached flyer with any of your students who are seeking additional support in reaching their academic goals.

We ask that students RSVP in advance. They can submit their RSVP here.

Here are a few additional talking points if your students have questions:

  • There is no limit to the number of workshops a student may attend.

  • Most workshops will be offered more than once in an effort to accommodate busy schedules.

  • All workshops are offered free of charge.

  • Space is somewhat limited. Seats will be filled on a first come/first served basis.
