Are you studying the impacts of climate change?
Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, invites undergraduate and graduate students conducting research in climate science to apply for research funding through the Grants-in-Aid of Research (GIAR) program.
The deadline to submit applications is March 15, 2019 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time. Students may apply for funding from the program twice each year. The grants are made possible by designated funds from the National Academy of Sciences and from donations.
Proposals are evaluated based on scientific merit and how well they align with the funding criteria, including description of the hypothesis, methodologies, budget, and significance of the proposed investigation. Guidelines and a list of fundable expenses can be found here.
